We've just published a new update for Revel Breezer 2013 RC which shifts beta time bomb to 1st june 2014 and fixes some bugs.

Faq updated about CCleaner and our error reporting feature

Today we've just updated the faq section of our web site with two new questions that in the past months our support staff received.

We've copied them here for your convenience

CCleaner or other uninstallers do not show your product. How I can uninstall it?

Some of our products uses an installation technology called ClickOnce from Microsoft. That technology prevents some cleaners to "see" them. To remove the application go to: Control panel - Programs and then choose remove a program, Windows will show our product in the list of installed programs. Select the program you want to remove, click uninstall and you're done.

I try to send an error report or another automatic signalation without success. Why?

Many modern antivirus (as well as firewalls) blocks by default any smtp connection (smtp is the outbound email protocol) because many malwares uses the email as preferred infection vehicle.

Also remember that many organizations may block specific traffic over their network.

News for October

Today we updated our website with a bounch of small improvements. The objective was improve your experience with it but the most noticeable update can be found on the official BringBack page where we added its first demo video.

But we didn't stop here.

Product activation engine update

We take the opportunity to improve our product activation experience. We redesigned the activation dialog box to be more modern, easy to use and clear also we added a new, important, feature.

Below you'll find a screenshot of it. The most important change here is that we now support trial period extension, which means that if you need more than 20 days to try our products, well, drop us an email and we will send you back a temporary unlock code, which will extend the trial period by another 20 days, for free.

How could you extend the trial period? Simply when the trial period finish a new button will appear called "Get more trial days" click it and paste the code we've sent to you in the dialog box which will appear, click ok and you're done. The trial period will return back to 20 days. We think that in some situations is more fair to give the opportunity to deeply test our products.

That feature will also help us with some support requests.

Revel reView and Breezer updates

We've also solved some minor issues with Breezer and reView. The updates are already online and available for download.

Those who have the automatic updates download will receive the update at first application run.

New multi-license scheme for Breezer 2012 pro and ReView

We received many questions about the licensing scheme of Breezer Pro. The question is quite simple: "I have a workstation and a notebook. How I can use Breezer on both machines?". The same applies to ReView.

Many of you already known any license we issue is linked to the machine, so it's a problem in the scenario above.

Now we decided to resolve that problem and make available a second license for the 20% of the tag price, in the case of Breezer the second license will costs just 11,90€.

On june 30, we will release an upgrade to the web site (and to the store) where you'll find the additional license pack. Existing users will be able to buy an additional license for just 11,90€.

Northern-Italy earthquake hits Revel Software

Revel Software was hit by the 6 Degree earthquake that recently shaken northern Italy and as a consequence we've stopped our development work. We count to restart it in 2-3 weeks.

Now we're slowly returning to normality because fortunately nobody died or had his house torn down anyway our support department and product update/release will slow down so please understand any delay from our support staff.
